Lucia is a SAGE student intern at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory working in the Cryo-EM Department with the Wah Chiu Lab. She is a second-year student at Clovis Community College majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Outside of the lab, Lucia enjoys playing field hockey, practicing guitar, and exploring the outdoors through hiking. With a strong commitment to scientific discovery and patient care, Lucia hopes to become a physician-scientist who advances medical research and improves lives through innovation.
